• Over Spring Break, TLLC member Courtney Mumme will travel with a group from her school, Hill Country Christian School of Austin, to the Dominican Republic to work at a charity organization. You can support the group by donating something from their supply list. Donations may be brought to TLLC and left in the Giving Market. Click here to view the supply list.

Special Events

• Sunday, February 19, 9:30 - Jim Spencer, KXAN Meteorologist will kick off our Care of Creation Speaker series in the sanctuary.
• Sunday, February 26, 9:30 - Laura Huffman, state director of The Nature Conservancy, will  speak at TLLC on the state of water in Texas, how we impact it, and what steps we can take to be better stewards of it.
  Laura has spearheaded significant growth of The Nature Conservancy of Texas' conservation work. She is one of the Conservancy's most trusted voices, speaking regularly on pressing environmental issues like energy and water. Laura earned her master's in public affairs from the University of Texas and her bachelor's from Texas A&M. She lives in Austin with her husband and four children.

Music

SINGERS in case you haven’t heard….
Our newly forming  mixed choir (SATB) rehearses every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9pm.  Childcare is provided.  Middle and High school students are welcomed and included.  more

RING and SING for Children

• NEW ringers and singers are needed for a viable group!
• Kids in grades 1-5 
• Wednesday 5:45-6:50. Come for dinner and a fun time with musical friends.  Be home by 7:00.  Just show up in the choir room to participate. more

Small Groups

• Mary Martha Friendship Group will meet Tuesday, February 28 at 7 pm in the home of Joyce Moeller, 9543 Big View Drive in River Place just off RR 2222.  Joyce will share a presentation of her trip to Ethiopia with Water To Thrive. We are so blessed to be able to share Joyce's trip of a lifetime through her pictures and stories. Felicia Wachsmann will give the devotion.

• Take Loop 360 south to RR 2222 and veer to the right onto RR 2222.
• At the light at River Place Blvd. (3M will be on your right) turn left onto River Place Blvd.
• Stay on River Place Blvd till it dead ends at Big View Drive.

• Prime Timers will meet on Thursday, February 16 at 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. Please join us for lunch and a short program.
• Quilting at Arlene's,  Sunday, February 12 and February 19 at 1:00 pm at 5110 Ganymede Dr., Austin. We have scissors and needles for everyone! Come and meet our special assistant, Peter  - the cat.
