ELCA World Hunger Appeal-When you shop at Randalls and join their Good Neighbor program, you can designate TLLC as your organization of choice and they will send us one percent of your purchase total. We will then send all that money to the ELCA Hunger Appeal. Visit ELCA World Hunger

Hill Country Community Ministries - TLLC is designated "the peanut butter church" by HCCM. That means we've committed to keep their food pantry shelves stocked with peanut butter. Consider making it a habit to stop by the peanut butter shelf first every time you visit the grocery store, and pick up a small jar. Email Jack Stueber for more information. LWR Fair Trade Coffee Project supports small growers in third world countries by buying Fair Trade coffee, tea, and chocolate at TLLC's monthly sale. Missionary for a Day-TLLC provides missionary support to Mission Laredo and the Indonesian Christian Fellowship. The suggested minimum pledge for one day is $20.00. Choose a date for yourself, your family or a loved one in honor of a birth or death of a loved one, or another significant event in your life or your family's life. Olivewood Project-Olivewood figures crafted by artisans in the Holy Land are sold at TLLC at various times during the year. Proceeds benefit the children of Beit Sahour Lutheran school, near Bethlehem. Email Ed Schwanke  or call 310.9622, for more information.

Bread for the World-Every year during worship services and other events, such as the CROP Walk, tens of thousands of BFW members and others offer to God letters they have written to their members of Congress on legislation that is important to hungry people.
