Stephen Ministry—Please join us Sunday, January 18 at 7pm for "Making Life Changes at 50 and Beyond."
The January 2009 Stephen Ministry continuing education program, coordinated by Cindy Hough, will discuss making life changes at the age of 50 and beyond. Just as Jesus asked his disciples to change their lives to follow him, many planned and unplanned events in our lives change our direction and purpose and they affect us in different ways. The next Stephen Ministry training class
starts January 25, 6:30 pm. There will be a short information
session at TLLC on January 11 at 10:30 if you have questions about this new class. If you are interested or have questions, please contact Joan Stys or Rich Klingner. A minimum of 8 (maximum of 14) students will be necessary for the class to be conducted.
A New Year's resolution you can keep? TLLC's first blood drive of 2009 is almost here! There are four drives each year, and donating once a quarter would be a meaningful resolution that could save someone's life. Thanks to all the regular TLLC donors for your loyal support of this vital community service. We are hoping to add more "regulars" this year! CDC fall Registration for next school year will be January 16 for CURRENTLY enrolled families. Fall registration for the public will be held January 23.
